India's leading water purifier brand Kent RO Systems inaugurated its second manufacturing plant in Noida. Built with an investment of Rs 150 crore, the new manufacturing facility is expected to double the production capacity and increase product localization.
The company, which has expanded to verticals such as kitchen appliances and air purifier, expects 12 percent growth this fiscal and revenue of around Rs 950 crore.
"With this second manufacturing plant, our production capacity of reverse osmosis (RO) water purifiers will double to 10 lakh units a year. We are eyeing a revenue of Rs 950 crore this financial year as against a revenue of Rs 850 crore reported in the previous fiscal," Kent RO Systems Chairman and Managing Director Mahesh Gupta said.
The Spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravishankar along with Hema Malini inaugurated Kent’s new Manufacturing Facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Kent’s new facility is India’s largest RO Water Purifier manufacturing unit and with this facility, Kent RO will double its current capacity for RO water purifiers from 5 lacs units a year to 10 lacs units a year.
Spread on a total area of 23000 square meters & having a built-up area of 3.5 lac square feet, Kent’s new manufacturing facility has been planned in phases. The newly inaugurated phase-1 of the plant, constructed at a cost of Rs 150 crores would undertake to manufacture of Next Gen range of RO purifiers. The new plant will fulfill capacity expansion and meet the increasing demand.
