Atul Kumar Gupta to be the new President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) for the year 2020-2021. Nihar Niranjan Jambusaria has been chosen as the Vice President of the ICAI for 2020-2021. They were chosen at a gathering of the central council in New Delhi.

Atul Gupta, who has worked in the chartered accountancy domain for around two decades, was the Vice President of ICAI for the term 2019-20. He is a trade and a law graduate.

Gupta expects to charge in charge of ICAI when the CA calling—following victories in several major non-banking finance organizations - is confronted with a few difficulties including immense trust shortage among corporate partners, controllers and economy watchers.
