Google India Highlights Technologies for Smart and Secure Businesses
Google India hosted over 2,000 business leaders, in person and over livestream, at the India leg of its global enterprise event, Atmosphere 2016. Held in India for the first time in Mumbai, Google showcased its smart, modern and secure offerings that enable customers to take advantage of digital technologies.
MUMBAI, 5 AUGUST, 2016: Google’s enterprise offerings comprise the full array of IT needs from communication and productivity with Apps to application hosting, data analysis and infrastructure with Cloud Platform, and workplace devices with Chrome and Android hardware.
Present at the event were senior leaders from Flipkart, Hero MotoCorp, PwC and Mahindra’s startup arm – SmartShift who spoke about their adoption of Google’s enterprise offerings that are enabling their teams to be more connected, collaborative and competitive.
According to Builtwith.com Trends, over 70% of sites with a .in domain are using Google’s enterprise technologies, making Apps a popular IT choice for Indian businesses. Businesses of all sizes and across a range of industries from retail and consumer goods to healthcare and financial services have adopted Google’s enterprise offerings. Two of the most successful new-age Indian companies, Flipkart and Ola Cabs, have both used Apps since their inception. Other key customers in India include Air Asia, Dalmia Cements, Dmart, Hiranandani, Jindal Steel, Go Air, Punj Lloyd and Yatra.
