Eyeing at increased cooperation in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, a delegation of over 60 members, comprising of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is on a three city visit to India.

The MSME delegation is led by the President of the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF), Pierre Gattaz.

During the visit, the Gattaz led delegation will be meeting officials at various central as well as state ministries. Also the delegation will hold high level talks with various industry bodies.

The prime focus of the visit is to expand the dialogue on economic cooperation between India and France by tapping on the Make in India initiative of the government.

The French Minister in a press interview said that the Make in India project of the government is instrumental to economy as well as employment prospects for the country.  He further said that the fresh ties between India and France will prove significant in sharing of expertise in different fields including infrastructure, renewable energy and nuclear energy.
