NEW DELHI: Indian Agriculture and Farming machine maker Escorts Agro Machinary (EAM) sold has registered a sales of 4,760 tractors during the month of April 2017 in the domestic market. This figure thereby also authenticates an year-on-year growth of 18 percent. The Indian automobile manufacturer informed Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company sold 4,048 units during April 2016 in the domestic market.
Escorts' export figures have also surged 266 percent and stood at 139 units, when compared with 38 units during same month previous year.
Escorts Agri Machinery's cumulative sales for the month of April 2017 stood at 4,899 units as against 4,086 units during April 2016, thereby witnessing growth of 20 percent.
