Faiz: Please tell about your target audience. How do you approach these segments?
Amitansu: We cater to every industry segment and our target audience comprises healthcare, Hospitals, Labs, Banks, Big retail shops, etc. We first understand their problems and suggest the best products according to their need.
How do you look at the current scenario of the power solutions industry? What is the future of the UPS and inverter market in India?
In my opinion, the power solutions industry is booming at an unprecedented rate in the country. Thanks to the recent events unfolding on the significance of power equipment, I feel that almost every industry has started recognizing the need for the hour ‘power solution’ to simplify their operations.
Talking of the future of the UPS and Inverter market in India, as per a report from Research on Global Markets, the Indian UPS market is expected to reach ₹ 99.83 billion in 2023, growing at a CAGR of 11.97 percent. Growing investments in IT and the rapid development of the IT sector have significantly contributed to the growth of the UPS system market. Besides, there is rising demand from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well.
What are your expansion plans for the Indian market? What is your target for the year 2022?
BPE aims to align to 4.0 technology, which is enabling faster, more flexible and more efficient processes to produce higher-quality goods at reduced costs. Our aim is to be the leading manufacturer in the industry, with innovation and adapting to market changes.
This year, we aim to launch new products catering to different categories and expand to other industry segments, targeting 40 to 50 percent in the Indian market. We aim to achieve approximately 250 crore turnover for the years 2022-23.
For the year 2022, we’re focused on increasing our international expansion, while strengthening our operations in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Middle East, and UAE. Currently, we are supplying modular UPS. Energy Storage Solution, IoT-enabled technology to our customers via allocating more distributor and channel partners for international and domestic distributors.
How big is the Indian market for BPE? Where do you see India as a market in BPE's global footprint?
The Indian market is huge and we’re just getting started by covering it slowly & steadily. Currently, BPE is booming at an annual growth rate of 17% annually. Therefore, we can say that the market is vast and many segments need to be converted.
Talking of India as a market in BPEs global footprint, it’ll be the core of our operations, allowing us to make the most of our business at a steady pace.
What are the top priorities for 2022?
This year, we aim to launch new products catering to different categories and expand to other industry segments, targeting 40 to 50 percent in the Indian market. We aim to achieve approximately 250 crore turnover for the years 2022-23.
