Elitecon International Limited, a leading diversified FMCG enterprise, has announced the appointment of Mr. Susanta Kumar Panda (Retd. IRS) as an Independent Director on its Board.
The appointment reinforces Elitecon International’s focus on strengthening corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight in line with best-in-class governance standards.
Mr. Susanta Kumar Panda (Retd. IRS) brings nearly four decades of distinguished service in taxation, fiscal administration, and regulatory policy. He has served as a Member of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and as Special Secretary to the Government of India. During his career, he has held key positions across the Enforcement Directorate and the Customs Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), gaining deep expertise in indirect taxation, compliance, and enforcement frameworks.
His extensive experience in public finance, regulatory governance, and institutional oversight is expected to significantly strengthen Elitecon International’s Board processes, audit oversight, and compliance mechanisms, particularly as the company continues to scale its domestic and international operations.
