DuneVista Capital, an Indian-led global asset management group, has announced plans to launch a $1 billion global fund, with India as a core focus, ahead of its formal debut at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos on January 21, 2026 .
The fund will focus primarily on investments in Indian startups and growth-stage companies. Alongside this, DuneVista Capital will pursue selective investments across private equity, public markets, hedge funds and commodities as part of its broader investment platform.
As part of its India-focused approach, the firm has already committed $100 million to Indian and India-linked investment platforms. These include Indusbridge Ventures, a venture capital and venture builder that invests in and scales high-growth technology companies, and El Dorado Capital, a Dubai-based global investment management firm and hedge fund.
DuneVista Capital operates across Mumbai, Dubai, New York, London and Singapore and is structured as a multi-jurisdiction platform from inception. India will remain a key market for capital deployment and investment decision-making during the current fund cycle.
“At a time when Indian founders are building strong, profitable businesses, there is a need for patient capital that understands both local realities and global markets. As an Indian-led investment firm, our focus is on supporting Indian companies, particularly women-led businesses, as they scale sustainably and expand beyond domestic markets.” said Mayank Singhvi, CEO, DuneVista Capital.
DuneVista Capital’s private equity strategy, which anchors its startup investments, will focus on control and minority stakes in resilient, cash-flow–generating companies, supported by hands-on operational involvement and deep mergers and acquisitions experience. The firm said it will work closely with founders on governance, scaling strategies and cross-border expansion.
Alongside its startup and private equity focus, DuneVista Capital will also allocate capital across:
Public markets, through long-term equity and fixed income portfolios
Hedge funds, via allocations to specialised global managers
Commodities, with exposure across energy, metals and agriculture
These strategies are intended to support portfolio diversification and long-term capital preservation.
The leadership team at DuneVista Capital is entirely Indian and brings decades of experience across investment banking, private equity and institutional investing.
