National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) Wins the Prestigious SAFA Awards
On this occasion, Mr Anil Kumar Jain CEO - NIXI said “A transparent financial reporting is critical not only for stakeholders of the company but also provides a path for sustainable development of the company. This also helps NIXI for effective corporate governance which brings confidence amongst customers and the Government.”
The National Internet Exchange of India, a not-for-profit (Section 8) Company, under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India has been awarded by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) as the recipient of ‘Certificate of Merit’ in ‘Communication & Information Technology Sector’. The SAFA BPA Award is considered as the most prestigious accolade for financial reporting in the entire South Asian region.
As announced by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), which had 118 nominations from 7 countries, awarded NIXI for the best-presented annual report. This honour was presented in recognition of excellence in the presentation and disclosure of high-quality, relevant, reliable and objective financial statements in accordance with the established international framework.
