Comic Con India, one of the country’s greatest pop-culture celebrations, today announced that its flagship event, Delhi Comic Con 2025-26, will take place from December 5–7 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla.
Since 2011, Delhi has been the home and launchpad of Comic Con India, playing a pivotal role in driving the country’s pop-culture movement. The city has embraced fandom culture through elaborate cosplay showcases, extensive comic book collections, fan meet-ups, exclusive merchandise, and immersive experiences. In its previous edition, Delhi Comic Con attracted over 52,000 visitors and witnessed stand-up comedians like Ashish Solanki, Ravi Gupta and Rohan Joshi along with musical performances by artists such as singer Panther and rapper Fotty Seven, adding more energy to the experience.
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD, NODWIN Gaming said, “Delhi will always be home for Comic Con India. This is where it all began in 2011, when a small group of fans, artists, and creators turned a simple idea into a cultural movement. Every year since, the city has given us the biggest stage and the loudest voice. You can feel the spirit of fandom everywhere, from comic book shops in Connaught Place to buzzing student festivals across campuses, and in the creativity of cosplayers and gamers who travel from all over the country to be here. For me, Delhi Comic Con is a humbling reminder of where we started and how far this community has come. This December, I can’t wait to see the capital once again transform into India’s biggest celebration of stories, characters, and imagination.”
Comic Con serves as a bridge between passion and profession. Beyond inspiration, it also provides practical advantages for emerging talents through panel sessions, workshops, meet-ups with industry professionals and networking opportunities. The interactive zones, cosplay contests, and fan exhibits give creators a chance to showcase their work, connect with audiences, and get real-time feedback.
Beyond any traditional convention, the latest edition of Delhi Comic Con brought fans together offering engaging experiences with PC and console gaming tournaments, thrilling VR experiences like McLaren themed racing, Chandrayaan and Ocean Quest simulations, photo booths, pop-up zones, and vibrant cosplayers from categories like anime, comics, sci-fi, and gaming. Over the years, Comic Con India has welcomed renowned creators and guests such as Ryan North (bestselling author, Marvel’s Squirrel Girl), Eisner Award-winning artist Jason Loo, Dan Parent (Archie Comics), David Lloyd (co-creator of V for Vendetta), among many others. It also saw acclaimed Japanese voice actors like Kappei Yamaguchi (One Piece),Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), and even Demon Slayer producer Yuma Takahashi, featuring appearances at the Crunchyroll booth.
Adding to this, Shefali Johnson, CEO, Comic Con India, commented, “Delhi Comic Con has always been close to my heart because of the fans who make it what it is. Every year I see people walk in with months of work behind their costumes, artists proudly showing their first printed comics, and groups of friends who plan the entire weekend around this festival. There is a warmth and excitement in Delhi that makes you feel like you are part of one big family. For me, the most special part is watching someone’s eyes light up when they find a story, a character, or a community that feels like home. That is what Delhi Comic Con is all about, and I cannot wait to see it come alive again this December.”
The three-day event is the perfect place to soak in the Delhi winter sun while exploring a wide spectrum of pop-culture experiences, whether it is the worlds of comic books, the expressive artistry of manga, futuristic visions of sci-fi, or immersive adventures in virtual gaming universes.
