GST regime in India is one of the huge transformations that the country has seen in years. It has evolved the entire Tax environment. With the motive of 'One Nation, One Tax' there were certain gaps that made it difficult for both the common man and business houses to cope up with this system. GST Forum 2019 created a platform that brought solutions to all business challenges pertaining to GST.

The speakers informed the attendees about key considerations for New GST, GST Compliance and automation, cloud security to handle GST data, leveraging tech to automate GST and broader finance functions and lastly, the challenges that companies face due to lack of clarity and where the GST law can improve. The forum garnered good response from the participants who had doubts about various aspects of New GST.

ClearTax plans to hold 10 more GST Forums in Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad in the coming days to drive education and knowledge-sharing about GST changes among CXO network in India.

Archit Gupta, Founder & CEO, ClearTax, said, “With constant changes in GST laws, ClearTax is spearheading the education for Indian businesses and encouraging the use of technology to enable input credit maximization and mitigating compliance risk. I hope this and the upcoming GST forum hosted by ClearTax will help enterprises to understand and excel in GST compliance.”
