CleanMax Solar, country's leading solar solutions provider, has been acknowledged as ‘India’s largest rooftop solar developer’ for the third consecutive time this year. In the latest 'Bridge to India' (BTI) report.
BTI’s ‘India Solar Rooftop Map 2017’ pegs CleanMax Solar’s market share at 24 per cent, up from 23 per cent as per BTI Rooftop Map of 2016. Holding nearly a quarter of the market, CleanMax Solar caters to many of India’s leading corporates, large scale industries and infrastructure projects.
CleanMax Solar has commissioned more than 80 plants in FY 2016-17, with a capacity of over 38 MW and leverages its scale advantages to offer very attractive solar power costs to its customers.
The OPEX ‘zero investment’ model facilitates consumers to avail solar power at significant discounts to grid tariffs, with no capital investment.
Speaking on the achievement, Kuldeep Jain, founder and managing director of CleanMax Solar, said, "To maintain the top position for three consecutive years with a quarter of the market share in India is a matter of pride for us, and a testament to the faith our clients have put in CleanMax as their sustainability solutions provider.
"Our recent funding from Warburg Pincus comes as a validation of our business model and our success to date in this market. As we work to maintain and grow our leadership position, the investment by Warburg Pincus will help us further our growth, both nationally and internationally, as we expand within India and into the Middle East and South Asian markets. We are also looking at using the funds by venturing into energy storage solutions as a logical next step in broadening our sustainability solutions for our corporate clients," he added.
