Citroën India stepping up on its promise towards enhancing customer accessibility and brand reach in India, continues to expand its presence across India with the launch of its 126th Point of Sales and Service in Chennai. Driven by the rollout of the Citroën 2.0 – ‘Shift Into The New’ strategy the team is working on a long-term roadmap to deepen localisation, expand the dealer and service footprint, and elevate customer-centric product and ownership experiences across India. The resultant growth has been supported by continued product innovation, expanded export programs, and strengthened engineering and software capabilities as the quarter progresses. The renewed focus on India-centric products, expanded customer ecosystem, and strengthened manufacturing capabilities has accelerated Citroën’s domestic growth.
The new 3S facility will be an extension of Citroën’s existing partnership with VTK Automobiles, a long-standing franchise partner of Citroën in Chennai. VTK Automobiles currently operates four Citroën touchpoints in the city, including showrooms at OMR and Nungambakkam, and workshops at OMR and Kattupakkam. Strategically located at Chitlapakkam near Chrompet, the facility has been strategically established to increase Citroën’s coverage in the city and improve accessibility for both sales and aftersales customers., the new showroom provides an immersive, future-forward brand environment. Customers can now explore, customize, and experience both brands in a single, unified space that ensures consistency in both sales and after-sales services.
