Chandrakant Dada Patil Launched KOEL’s MEGA T

PUNE: Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil- Minster for Revenue & PWD and Mr. Bharat Patil- Member, BJP visited the KMW unit of KOEL in Kagal, for the launch of the revolutionary farm machine Mega-T Power Tiller the future of farming. He was accompanied by Ms. Monica Singh (SDO – Kagal & Radhanagari Region) & other senior MIDC Officials.

Mr. R.R. Deshpande Jt. Managing Director KOEL welcomed the Hon’ble minister at KOEL’s plant.   Thereafter Hon. Revenue Mister launched the Mega-T Power Tiller Product Range. The power tiller has been awarded by AIMA & CII as being the most innovative product in its category.

Speaking on the occasion Hon. Minister appreciated the efforts of Kirloskar Group towards transforming lives of the farmers and for launching such farm equipment. He said that “the Mega T- power tiller would specially be beneficial for the small farmers who have small farm holdings. The tiller is economical has diverse utility and is also very comfortable to maneuver. He also lauded KOEL for the overall growth in this area.”

Kirloskar as a brand has been associated with the Indian farming community for many decades. In agricultural sector, Kirloskar fulfils the motive power needs of customers globally; essentially farmers, who require products in the range of 3 hp to 30 hp. Kirloskar after studying the needs & purposes of farmers across India, has developed & launched it’s product “Mega T” in the Farm Mechanization segment.

Kirloskar’s smarter farm machines are being manufactured at the company’s state of the art manufacturing facilities at Kagal, near Kolhapur, Maharashtra, with a production capacity of 12,000 machines per annum. Recently the company had launched Mega T 15 -DLX (Key start, mobile charger, etc.), Mega T 15HP SCC (Sugar cane special), Mega T 15 RTH & Mega T 12 variants as per farmer’s need. Apart from this company has also launched Univator - A rotary tiller category implement which can be attached to tractor of 35HP+ category.
