BMR announced the induction of two new Partners in the firm, Saurabh Garg and Manoj N Kumar. While Saurabh is based out of firm’s NCR office and part of the M&A practice, Manoj on the other hand is based out of Bangalore and part of the Direct Tax practice.
Saurabh has significant experience in advising clients (both Indian and overseas) on acquisitions and specializes in transaction support, deal negotiations, valuations, business reviews, and advising clients on entry strategy. His industry focus includes auto/auto components, pharma, engineering and consumer durables. He is also a part of the Japanese Business Group at BMR and has worked extensively on Japanese investments into India.
Manoj has over a decade of experience in corporate and transaction tax. His experience encompasses advising multinational companies and Indian business houses on a range of tax and regulatory issues such as entry strategy, business reorganization, divestiture, mergers and acquisitions. He has specific expertise in SEZs, real estate and IT sector. He is a Chartered Accountant and has completed Advanced Diploma in International Tax from the Chartered Institute of Taxation, United Kingdom.
