Avantel Limited has received a purchase order worth ₹13.82 crore (inclusive of taxes) from the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) for the supply of SATCOM Hub Equipment. The order is scheduled to be executed by June 2026, reinforcing the company’s strong execution capabilities and growing footprint in mission-critical communication infrastructure.
The SATCOM Hub Equipment will support CRIS’s efforts to strengthen secure, reliable, and scalable communication networks for Indian Railways, enabling enhanced operational efficiency and digital connectivity across rail operations.
Through this collaboration, Avantel continues to support the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, contributing to national security while fostering growth within the domestic defence ecosystem. Bharat Electronics Limited, a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, manufactures state-of-the-art electronic products and systems for the Indian Armed Forces.
