Avaada Electro, the solar PV manufacturing arm of the Avaada Group, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Grade A’ classification in Wood Mackenzie’s H1 2025 Global Solar Module Manufacturer Rankings—a recognition reserved for manufacturers that meet the highest benchmarks of global best practices.

Wood Mackenzie’s rankings evaluate leading manufacturers of crystalline silicon solar PV modules worldwide, with the Grade A category highlighting companies that demonstrate strong operational performance, financial robustness, and long-term bankability. The assessment spans multiple parameters, including capacity utilisation, technology maturity, ESG performance, third-party certifications, financial stability, supply-chain resilience, vertical integration, R&D intensity, manufacturing experience in years, and manufacturing experience in production.

Accordingly, the Grade A classification serves as a critical bankability input for developers, investors, banks & financial institutions, and procurement teams of asset owners across global solar markets.

Commenting on the recognition, Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairman, Avaada Group, said: “The Grade A classification from Wood Mackenzie is a strong validation of Avaada Electro’s manufacturing excellence, operational discipline, and uncompromising focus on quality. As a Group, we remain committed to investing in world-class technologies, resilient supply chains, and responsible manufacturing practices. As India accelerates its clean energy transition and strengthens domestic manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, Avaada Electro is focused on building globally competitive solar PV solutions that enhance energy security, sustainability, and long-term value creation.”

Avaada Electro produces advanced N-Type TOPCon solar modules, delivering higher efficiencies, improved durability, and superior performance across diverse operating conditions.

The company currently operates 8.5 GW of solar PV module manufacturing capacity, with plans for further expansion in line with growing domestic and global demand. Its manufacturing facilities are designed with scalability, automation, and future technology upgrades in mind.

The flagship Nagpur manufacturing facility is equipped with high-speed production lines and a smart energy management system, achieving a Takt time of just 16 seconds, reflecting Avaada Electro’s emphasis on operational efficiency and precision manufacturing.

Avaada Electro’s ALMM-listed modules are certified to leading international standards, including BIS, IEC, and UL, ensuring consistent performance across geographies—from large utility-scale solar parks to commercial & industrial and rooftop installations.
