AURANGABAD: The Aurangabad Industrial Township Limited (AITL), a special purpose vehicle formed to develop an integrated industrial township ‘AURIC’, is all set to start Rs 1,300 crore works for providing roads and other civic amenities in the ambitious industrial township of Bidkin.
"We are building up infrastructure facilities in Shendra very fast. Construction of a railway over bridge, water storage plant, network of roads, laying of underground electric cables, construction of main administrative block is in progress and most of these facilities would be ready within next one year. These modern facilities would certainly attract the companies," Gajanan Patil, joint managing director of AITL, told media.
"Similarly, we will soon assign a contract of developing infrastructure in Bidkin involving investment of Rs 1,300 crore for which we have already received bids from three internationally reputed firms," he added.
AITL, the SPV formed by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation and Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC), is developing the integrated Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) in Shendra and Bidkin industrial townships.
