Ashoka Buildcon Registers 51% Increase in Profit to Rs 105.40 Crore

The Infrastructure sector in India is on a promising move. The correctness of this statement can be judged by the performance of Ashoka Buildcon which has reported a 51.11 percent jump in its standalone net profit to Rs 105.40 crore for the March quarter, 2017-18.

The highway and road builder – Ashoka Buildcon had in comparison clocked a net profit of Rs 69.75 crore for the January-March of last fiscal, 2016-17.

This performance report card can impact positively on the stocks and share market such as BSE.  Though yesterday, the company stock closed 2.70 per cent down at Rs 254.10 on BSE, but today there are positive expectations.

Its total income rose to Rs 753.54 crore during the quarter as against Rs 543.55 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Total expenses reduced to Rs 547.27 crore during the quarter against Rs 573.77 crore in the same quarter of 2016-17.
