Apple Launched Campaign for Indian Developers
Apple featured a special section highlighting apps from Indian developers on the App Store. The 15 Apps and Games from India’ section showcases free and discounted apps. The apps are divided into three categories – Innovative Services, Limited Time Offers and Indie Games for Rs10.
New Delhi: Apple hosts some of the best iOS apps on its platform to recognize and highlight the best quality apps on app store. Fitso has been chosen owing to its innovative approach and unique features for weight loss, muscle gain and preparation for marathons. Fitso is also “Top Free App” in Health & Fitness category on App Store.
To celebrate India’s Independence Day, Apple featured a special section highlighting apps from Indian developers on the App Store. The 15 Apps and Games from India’ section showcases free and discounted apps. The apps are divided into three categories – Innovative Services, Limited Time Offers and Indie Games for Rs10. In the Innovative Services category, there are fitness app Fitso, Inshorts news app, lifestyle app Roposo, Instant – Quyantified Self and Nestaway home rental app, among others.
In May this year, during Apple CEO Tim Cook’s visit to India, the company announced a new initiative to support engineering talent and accelerate growth in India’s iOS developer community by establishing a Design and Development accelerator in Bangalore.
“India is home to one of the most vibrant and entrepreneurial iOS development communities in the world,” said Cook.”With the opening of this new facility, we’re giving developers access to tools which will help them create innovative apps for customers around the world.”
