Alliance Announces Aatur Thakkar As New Chief Executive Officer

Alliance Insurance Brokers Private Limited (“Alliance”), one of India’s leading insurance service providers, risk managers and reinsurance brokers, has announced the appointment of Mr. Aatur Shashikant Thakkar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Principal Officer, marking a significant leadership transition, with which, the company will chart its next phase of growth and expansion.

Aatur Thakkar succeeds Shashikant Thakkar- Founder and former CEO and Principal Officer. Mr. Shashikant Thakkar will continue to provide strategic guidance and support Alliance’s long-term vision and market expansion efforts.

Mr. Aatur Thakkar will carry forward and strengthen the legacy of Alliance, moving the organization into its next phase of accelerated growth. With a clear vision, he aims to scale the company’s premiums under management to INR 5000 crore within the next three years, while scaling the reinsurance business two-fold. Under his leadership, Alliance will further deepen its comprehensive distribution strategy, spanning B2B channels, corporate insurance, strategic partnerships, and digital platforms to drive sustained expansion, innovation, and market leadership.

We closed FY25 with premiums under management of more than INR 1500 crore and aims to scale premiums under management to INR 2500 crore by the end of FY26.
