Aimtron Group, a cross-border Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) company, has incorporated its wholly owned subsidiary, Aimtron Mechatronics Pvt. Ltd., following approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The Board has committed ₹3 crore towards its share capital, and the company has raised approximately ₹100 crore through the issuance of convertible warrants on a preferential basis.
The new facility is expected to generate 250–300 direct jobs in Phase 1, scaling to over 1,000 as operations expand, along with an additional 2500 indirect jobs across suppliers, logistics, and allied services. It has been set up to meet rising demand for end-to-end mechatronic solutions in EVs, renewable power, defense, and drone sectors. Initial projects will begin with existing Aimtron clients in EV, power electronics, and drone assembly.
The facility will play a central role in scaling Aimtron Group’s India business, which is targeting revenues of ₹750 crore in the near term. On ramp-up, Aimtron Mechatronics will contribute to the Group’s consolidated revenues within three years, supported by Gujarat government loan interest subsidies and central Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Mukesh Vasani, Founder & Chairman of Aimtron Group, said:“Aimtron Mechatronics is envisioned as an ecosystem where Indian talent delivers world-class solutions with global competitiveness. Our goal is to build a trusted brand for the next generation. The greenfield facility in Gujarat reflects our commitment to India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat mission and demonstrates how Indian engineering and manufacturing can successfully serve global markets.”
The facility integrates advanced Fuji SMT lines (scalable upto six plus a proto line), AOI, selective soldering, functional testing, and full system-level box-build assembly. Its operations will be powered by Aimtron’s AI-enabled MES and ERP systems, with a focus on precision electromechanical integration, enclosures, and power electronics systems.
Aligned with India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision, the Gujarat facility is positioned to become a hub for advanced EMS, box-build manufacturing, and mechatronic integration for global markets. Aimtron Mechatronics marks the beginning of Aimtron’s greenfield journey in Gujarat, strengthening the Group’s position as a globally trusted design-to-delivery partner across EMS, ODM, and OSAT verticals.
