Agri Minister and MSME Minister Discussed Opportunities for Organic Manure Production
In a bid to encourage the organic manure production and utilisation, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh recently met Minister of State (I/C) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The Minister informed about the meeting in a tweet from his official twitter handle.
“Met Giriraj Singh to discuss the modalities to promote various types of organic manure and bio fertilizers”, the Minister tweeted.
Giriraj Singh at several occasions emphasized towards the product. In an interactive session recently, MSME Minister Giriraj Singh said that his office is exploring opportunities to evolve a strong support system for bio fertilizers.
The minister also hinted towards a cow based agrarian economy with special thrust on organic farming. This is being done in line with Prime Minister’s target of reducing chemical fertilizers by over 50 per cent by 2022, the minister added.
