Adani Transmission Completes Acquisition of GMR Energy

NEW DELHI: Adani Transmission has completed the acquisition of the GMR Energy transmission assets, which it bought in July this year.
With the completion of this acquisition, Adani Transmission’s cumulative network will reach 10,900 circuit km, out of which 9,000 circuit km are under operation.
The scrip opened at Rs. 42 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 42.9 and Rs. 42 respectively. So far 338575 shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4564.21 crore.
The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 44.55 on 05-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 26.3 on 29-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 44.55 and Rs. 38.25 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 75 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.42 % and 5.58 % respectively.
The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
