WhiteGlove, one of the first end-to-end concierge healthcare platforms for international care coordination, was unveiled today by Anand Prakash, a Dropbox, LinkedIn, and IIT Bombay alumnus. WhiteGlove's mission is to provide a streamlined approach to managing healthcare for loved ones living outside the United States, with an initial focus on India where significant opportunities exist due to the healthcare challenges faced by a large number of Indian immigrants managing care for family members abroad.

India's aging population is set to double by 2050, but adequate healthcare remains out of reach for many, particularly the elderly in rural areas, where 71 percent live. With many Indian children migrating to the U.S. for better opportunities, there is a significant need to ensure proper care for their aging parents back home.

Like most medical systems, India’s medical system lacks outcome-based and preventative healthcare. However, the system also struggles with a shortage of doctors and the unfortunate tendency to overcharge for unnecessary services. The lack of electronic health records and sufficient infrastructure further exacerbates these issues, making the system prone to fraud and inefficiency. For Indians living in America, finding reliable healthcare solutions for their parents is increasingly urgent.

Premier Health Concierge: Trusted Care, Anytime, Anywhere

WhiteGlove’s service begins with digitizing the patient’s health history and conducting a full-body workup to determine the patient’s baseline healthcare needs. The WhiteGlove team identifies major health challenges and develops a personalized roadmap to manage these issues. The company then selects trusted and licensed providers from top healthcare systems, schedules the appointments, coordinates travel, offers 24/7 telehealth consultations, and supports medication management - all while keeping family members informed about their loved ones’ health.

“Caring for my parents and extended family in India has been a heartbreaking process, oftentimes requiring me or my siblings to fly over 8,000 miles just to ensure they receive appropriate care,” said Anand Prakash, founder of WhiteGlove. ”My grandmother and uncle both passed away from diseases that were caught too late. Basic access to preventative and ongoing healthcare could have saved their lives. No family should be left to navigate the complexities of healthcare across borders alone, and that’s why I’ve spent my entire career developing the skills and experience necessary to fix this broken system. WhiteGlove simplifies international healthcare, connecting families with trusted providers and managing every aspect of care from anywhere in the world.”

A Vision Born from Cross-Sector Experience

Prakash first gained prominence as the founding engineer and chief architect of Gupshup, one of the

largest enterprise communications platforms in the world with over 35 million users in India. His work provided critical insights into scalability and user engagement, key factors for navigating the complexities of India's healthcare system.

He later founded Droptalk, a messaging platform acquired by Dropbox in 2014, where he honed his skills in managing extensive digital data -an essential component in digitizing and handling medical records.

Prakash’s recent startup, Taskrun.ai, focused on leveraging AI to create personalized messaging in sales and marketing, a concept that parallels the tailored communication needed between healthcare providers and patients.

“Prakash has developed profound experience in building robust, user-centric systems, which he has now channeled into WhiteGlove,” said Rakesh Mathur, investor and serial entrepreneur. “ His deep understanding of both U.S. and Indian markets, combined with his extensive experience in technology, positions Prakash to lead a paradigm shift in how families manage healthcare across continents”
