Optoma Launches Next Generation Laser Projectors Made for Environmental Sustainability

Optoma, world’s No.1 DLP projector brand and a leading designer of display products today announced the launch of its much awaited eco-friendly laser projectors for the India market. With the future proofed laser technology, Optoma’s new range of projectors ZX350e, ZW350e, ZH350, AZX360ST, AZW360ST & AZH360ST have been designed keeping in mind environmental friendliness. These new Generation projectors are energy saving, mercury free and more economical making it the only projector available in the market which offers lower Carbon Footprints as compared to other brands available in the market.

Optoma is dedicated to provide eco-friendly, cost effective and reliable products that bring better experience to people all round the world. With the latest laser technology and higher power conversion efficiency, the new range of projectors can save nearly half the power consumption as compared with the lamp-based projectors and help in reducing carbon footprint for long-term usage than the lamp based projectors.

Price range starting from Rs. 72,000, these projectors will be available in the market from next month onward throughout the country. Optoma has dedicated its effort to minimizing the product size and robust design to be compact yet reliable enough for daily use. There has been a 34% reduction in size as compared to the previous generation of projectors. The new range of projectors are more compact and as a result the packaging and wastes have been reduced, and transportation of the products can be more efficient by containing more products in one shipment.

In comparison to traditional lamp-based projectors, Optoma laser projectors have a longer lifespan. It is also maintenance free and complies with regulations for less hazardous materials. With no need of constant lamp replacement, the laser projectors help save energy and extra cost, meanwhile avoiding mercury pollution.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Sharma, Country Head - India, Optoma Corporation, said, “We at Optoma are committed in upgrading and adopting new technology for a better user experience. With this commitment we have introduced the Next Generation of our projectors which will save upto 47% power consumption and help in reducing around 1265Kg CO2e during the life span of a projector. We have introduced our new Eco Friendly Laser projector series which is specially made for environment sustainability. We hope to transition the complete line up to laser projectors from traditional projectors in the coming year.
