Dubai Expo to Witness MSME Park in Andhra Pradesh Pavilion

The Andhra Pradesh Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 is set to showcase the MSME Park, fishing harbours, education, tourism and medical tourism, IT and ports and other several facilities available in the state from 11th to 17th February, 2022.

Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy and a group of team officials would represent Andhra Pradesh and would attend the expo at Dubai, he informed the department virtually on Thursday.

Food processing industries and transporting companies have shown interest to invest in the state and efforts are made to attract more, Karikala Vallavan informed the Minister.

The supervision of the pavilion will be done by Joint director V R V R Naik, and an itinerary of the programme was prepared which would begin with cultural programme with the help of Telugu Diaspora to depict Telugu culture.

On 14th February there would be a round table meeting with industrialists followed by a road show.

A meeting on the same evening would arranged with 250 industrialists and investors, and next day a B2G (business to government) meeting would be arranged with various Emirate companies.

Indian Ambassador to Emirates would facilitate a meeting of Mubadala (a catalyst for Abu Dhabi's economic diversification).

The Andhra Pavilion would have 12 large screens to inform about the important issues including chemical and petrochemical industries to the visitors.
