Cyient, a global Intelligent Engineering Solutions company, reported strong financial results for the first quarter of FY26, posting a 30% year-on-year increase in PAT for its Digital, Engineering, and Technology (DET) segment, reaching ₹163 crore. The company also added 14 new logos in Q1 and completed the planned carve-out of its semiconductor business, indicating strategic alignment for future growth.

Despite a marginal QoQ revenue dip of 0.3%, Cyient DET recorded a YoY revenue growth of 3.6%, reaching ₹1,393 crore. The Group’s overall cash position improved to ₹1,894 crore, a QoQ increase of ₹262 crore, further strengthening its financial foundation.

Krishna Bodanapu, Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director, remarked,

“Q1 FY26 performance is in line with our expectations and reaffirms the resilience of our diversified portfolio across DET, DLM, and Semiconductors. The successful carve-out of Cyient Semiconductors unlocks new opportunities in high-performance analogue and mixed-signal ASICs across industries. We’re already seeing signs of recovery in DET, backed by leadership transitions, key deal wins, and strong logo momentum.”

Cyient’s strategic thrust was further validated by a $20 million+ deal with a leading APAC-based communications service provider to expand wireless infrastructure. In Q1 alone, the DET segment added 14 new logos across various industries and witnessed key account growth of 11% YoY and 4% QoQ, strengthening its customer base and market presence.

Sukamal Banerjee, Executive Director and CEO, highlighted Cyient’s evolving value proposition:

“There’s a clear shift in our pipeline toward transformation-led engagements, driven by our Domain + AI strategy that merges deep industry expertise with next-gen AI and digital solutions. Q1 has already shown tangible outcomes, with customers selecting Cyient to digitise core operations and establish Centres of Excellence for AI-led innovation.”

The company’s momentum was further boosted by recognition in Zinnov Zones 2024, where Cyient was ranked as a leader in 11 categories, including ER&D, Digital Engineering, Semiconductors, Aerospace, Telecommunications, and AI Engineering.

In line with its innovation-led approach, Cyient also spearheaded Phase 1 of the TM Forum Open Innovation catalyst project “InfraVerse: Breaking Boundaries for XR Sustainability,” collaborating with global telecom operators and GIS, AI, and drone solution providers. The initiative integrates AI, digital twins, immersive XR, and drone tech to reimagine mobile infrastructure planning and operations.

With a robust leadership team, industry recognitions, and a strong deal pipeline, Cyient is well-positioned to capitalise on future-ready opportunities and deliver sustained performance through FY26.
