MMANTC successfully hosts their 1st National Conference on Technology recently in Malegaon of Maharashtra. The conference was attended by researchers, scientists, industry experts, academicians and policymakers to promote STEM, and especially promote and encourage women’s participation in STEM.
The Conference opened with the Welcome Note by Dr. Munnazza Afreen Conference Convener and recitation of Holy Quran by student T.Y MECH Momin Abdullah.
Dr. Munnazza Afreen, Chief Convener & Head, Faculty Training & Development said in the opening remark, “Females participation in Technology and entrepreneurship is very low and through the conference, we want to promote the same to our students, attendees, and well-wishers.” She has stressed on the importance of promoting STEM in interiors of Maharashtra which would trigger innovation research and new product development in emergent technologies such as Blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things. She also thanked dignitaries and especially Dr. Tausif Malik the proponent of reverse migration through future technologies."
Arshad Mukhtar, Chairman JMES, said that “We thank everyone to support our conference and our founder’s vision was to empower the youth of India through quality technical education.”
Dr. Tausif Malik, Global Chair of Muslim Democrats Abroad (Democratic Party USA) was invited as Chief Guest International. A strong believer of the Gandhian philosophy of empowerment of rural India, he spoke about his vision about ‘Reverse Migration & Sustainable Development’ through future technologies. He also spoke about the importance of parents and their role and support in their children's lives, “Chief Guest for the Conference was newly appointed Dr. Tausif Malik as the first Global Chair of Muslim Democrats Abroad & proponent of Reverse Migration through Future Technologies to address the conference.”
Ainul Attar, former Joint Secretary of Minority Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, and Chief Guest spoke about challenges faced by the minorities in achieving higher education and she shared her inspiring story of achieving higher education and career achievements.
The Conference also hosted a panel discussion titled “Challenges & Opportunities in Technical Education” moderated by Dr. Ramzan and panellist Prof. (Dr.) N. B. Pasalkar, Dr. A. K. Kureshi, Dr. NehaDand, AkramHoque, and Altaf Pirjade.

The 1st National Conference on Technology had different segments such as Lecture series, Startup Showcase, Hackathon, Recruitment drive and Training Sessions for Academicians.
Renowned personalities such as names Dr.Agarkar, Dr. ArunGarde, Dr. Bhirud, D.G. Lokhande, Faizan Ansari, Dr.S.S Ingle, Prof. M..M. Ansari, Yousuf were part of the session chair, Lecture series, and jury of Startup Showcase, Hackathon, Recruitment drive and training sessions for Academicians.
As part of education to career theme, the organizers had invited India’s first Shariah-compliant Stock Investment Consultant Ashraf Mohamedy founder of IDAFA Finance who addressed the students, staff, and guests about the importance of saving and investment in Shariah-compliant Stock & Shares.
Dr. Munnazza Afreen further added our students, staff, and academicians have to benefit with interacting with industry experts, researchers, and academicians.
Total of 105 research papers was presented by students and professors from various parts of India. There were seven tracks and in every track BEST PAPER PRESENTATION were also awarded. The Best Hackathon idea was presented to F.Y.MECH student Md. Sadan Wakeel, and JMES Startup showcase was awarded to a group of Electrical department students led by Ansari Nabeel and TY. MECH. Faisal Mukhtar.
On 2nd day of the conference, the second round of technical sessions continued followed by a paper on Technical Education presented by Dr.NehaDand, which turned out to be guiding, mentoring and a fruitful session for all the faculties. The conference was highly successful. The chief convener Dr Munnazza has shared the credit of the success of the conference with students organizing committee members and respective faculties. All the participants, organizer of the conference were awarded certificates and medals.
