Allahabad Bank MD & CEO Usha Ananthasubramanian Elected Chairman of IBA
IBA Managing Committee of at its meeting held on January 25 elected Allahabad Bank MD & CEO Usha Ananthasubramanian, as the Chairman of Indian Bank’s Association, an association of Indian Banks and Financial Institutions based in Mumbai for the year 2017-18. Ananthasubramanian has created history as she is the First Woman Chairman of IBA.
Rajnish Kumar, Chairman, State Bank of India, was elected Deputy Chairman of IBA for the year 2017-18.
IBA is the banking sector’s industry body, whose objective, among others, is to promote and develop sound and progressive banking principles, practices and conventions and to contribute to the developments of creative banking in the country.
