Hindi Maah (September 2025) was organized to commemorate Hindi Diwas at Bank of India Head Office, Mumbai. Various Hindi competitions like Calligraphy, News Reading, Song Singing, Audio Visual, Hindi Typing, Banking Products and Rajbhasha Gyan were successfully organized by the Bank of India Head Office during the Hindi Month. On the occasion of Hindi Diwas Celebration 2025, the Bank of India, Head Office also organized a Humorous Poets Conclave.

On this occasion, prizes were distributed to the winners of various Hindi competitions held at Bank of India Head Office, Mumbai. On this occasion, Executive Director Shri P. R. Rajagopal, Executive Director Shri Rajiv Mishra, Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri Vishnu Kumar Gupta, Chief General Managers, General Managers and other staff officers and personnel were present.


At the outset of the programme, Rajbhasha in-charge Ms. Mau Maitra gave an overview of the activities organized by the Department of Rajbhasha during the Hindi Month. Later, taking forward the contours of the programme, General Manager, Head Office, Shri Biswajit Mishra extended a warm welcome to all and gave a broad overview of the Rajbhasha activities. Executive Director Shri Rajiv Mishra in his address said that the Department of Official Language is doing good work and in the coming time all the regions should make active efforts for Rajbhasha Puraskar. Later, Executive Director Shri P. R. Rajagopal said that congratulations to the Department of Official Language for the latest issue of Human Chain Booklet and Planetarium. He further said that we all should increase the use of Hindi language with love.

He informed that the Head Office of the Bank was awarded the second prize under Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar in the category of more than 800 personnel by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Official Language. Along with this, Narakas Noida received the first prize under Rajbhasha Narakas Samman. Out of 15 Nagar Rajbhasha Implementation Committees working in association with the Bank, 6 NARAKAS were also awarded with NARAKAS Rajbhasha Samman. On this occasion, the Hindi message of the Hon'ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah was read out by the General Manager Smt. Anjali Bhatnagar.


Prominent personalities from the world of comedy, Shri Mahesh Dubey ji, Shri Suresh Mishra ji and stage managers, Dr. Rajnikant Mishra ji and Ms. Sonal Jain ji graced the occasion with their performances. At this point, the audience couldn't help but laugh. All the members of the staff thoroughly enjoyed the conference.
At the end, everyone was thanked by Mr. Vasudev, General Manager. He expressed his special gratitude to all the poets present. With this, the Hindi Diwas celebrations formally came to an end.
