IIT Madras to Work with SMEs in Creating AI Apps

IIT-Madras has launched a startup to train workers on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at a nominal cost. The startup, One Fourth Lab, has an online school, ‘PadhAI’, which will offer India-specific courses on AI.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) will create Artificial Intelligence (AI) -driven apps by collaborating with Small and Medium Enterprises, said Mitesh M Khapra and Pratyush Kumar, Assistant Professors, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT-Madras.

IIT-Madras has launched a startup to train workers on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at a nominal cost. The startup, One Fourth Lab, has an online school, ‘PadhAI’, which will offer India-specific courses on AI.

Also the startups invite top performing students every year to a ‘summer garage’, an AI residency programme at IIT Madras Research Park.
