Noida based, Loud Shout, a venture of AarRvee Idealabs Technologies Pvt Ltd, has recently received investment from ShopClues co-founder & CEO Sanjay Sethi ,Mr Ravi Jaipuria (Devyani foods and Varun Beverages) and a prominent Hong Kong based investment banker.They will also be mentoring the company for future growth on product, technology and other aspects.

Loud Shout is a hyper local bulletin board allowing users within a community to share their thoughts anonymously. The concept is a brain child of IIT-BHU and BITS Pilani graduates who envision the app as next community based real conversations platform in virtual world. The co-founders have combined experience of more than 45 years across domains of real estate, technology, scaling up organizations, education, hospitality and investment banking across the globe and have put in their own seed fund for the venture.

Loud Shout is an easy to use GPS based mobile platform which allows user to login through their phone number and works on two feeds – the basecamp feed which can be their college or office campus and the local feed which allows user to broadcast a message within 5 KM radius. All this communication is anonymous so users can share their true thoughts across two feeds unlike established social mediums which has only one feed. The flow and relevance of content is determined by the user sharing a basecamp, or being hyperlocal within a 5-km radius of each other.

Mr. Amit Vaish, Co-founder Aarvee Idealab Technologies pvt ltd. said that all their products are hyper local consumer focused mobile only platforms addressing everyday issues in consumer’s life. Most of the internet consumption is mobility driven within a community & this app does away with the necessity of following, or knowing a person in order to start getting content from them. “When questioned how the app is different from existing social media platforms co-founders replied ” Unlike other social mediums where your message is relayed across users for whom it might not be relevant, the app allows live conversation in a community”. As per co-founders ” India already has the largest youth population in the world with 48% of Indian smartphone users between the age of 18-25.

The founders are currently focusing on adding new features in the app for user engagement and have a pipeline for feature release every month for next one year. The app is currently for campuses on invitation only basis and is open across 70 campuses. The founders envision themselves to be the next platform for youth engagement in hyper local environment.
